The Nine Planes of Parsnip: The Realms that See Light: Fireside

 Comfort to the Soul is of the First Order

The world is not without wisdom, though few of those that come this way remember this fact. It is for those who wish to know What Has Gone Before , and What Might Have Been, (as well as the ever-elusive What Really should Be Said) that this comfortable nook in the Realms that See Light exists.

I have never learned how this place came to be, but it bears the marks of a human hand. Long, worn lines of books march along the walls, shrouded in the shadows of a thousand candles. The hearth is always alight, and rarely is one unable to find a chair in which to rest. Yet there is no caretaker, no librarian, no chimney-sweep (which is unfortunate since the Attempted Escape of Way Back When, when the Escapee Five tried to find their way out via the hearth's ventilation shaft). Nonetheless, a wonderful peace envelops the area, luring those that pass this way to stop, listen and learn.

The number of texts that are kept here is beyond my ability to comprehend; I simply can't count that high. The list is endless, perhaps even timeless, though if you look by the hearthside, you'll see a pile I recently assembled. Feel free to add to my collection of "Quick Reads".
